January 30 2012 – February 6 2012

Aries:   -  ODD – Are you feeling like the “odd” one out lately?  This can be a good thing.  It is a reminder that you are truly a unique individual following to the tune of your own drum.  It is a good time to acknowledge what makes you such a special person.   

Taurus:  - SAVOR  - Are you taking the time to “smell the roses”?  Are you “savoring” the small and seemingly non important aspects of your every day life?  Remember to be grateful for the little things around you.  By taking moments out and relishing in your surroundings you will feel a deep sense of appreciation for what is.

 Gemini:    -   PRECOGNITION – Gather more information in regards to that important event coming up.  You may want to change the way you approach a situation by tuning in and examining the situation a little bit closer.  Make sure you are prepared and have evidence to back your claim.

 Cancer:    - INTERCEPTION – Is someone trying to interfere in your affairs?  Are you putting your nose where it does not belong?  Take a moment to evaluate where you stand or where someone stands with you.  When implementing something new, never let the left hand know what the right hand is doing.  

 Leo:   -   KNOT-  What is it that you need to fasten or connect together?  It is time to tie up loose ends.  Check in with yourself and see where your body is feeling in “knots”.  It may be time to take a well needed vacation to loosen up those tight knots in your muscles.

Virgo: -  CIVILIZATION  - Is it time for you to get with the program and update some of your technology whether it be technical or just updating appliances and items in your home.  This is a sign to stop living in the middle ages and refine your culture.

 Libra:    -  GUCK -  It is time to do some serious spring cleaning delving into places where you have not visited in some time.  By cleaning out the “guck” in your closets, floors and in the cracks, you will open to new opportunities without anything plugging up your progress.

Scorpio:   -  REVEAL –   It is safe for you to let some of your best kept self be known to the world.  Let people know who you really are.  You will be admired for stepping out and being exactly the true you that inspires not only yourself but others.  

 Sagittarius:    -   MOTION -  This is a great time to build momentum with the goals you want to bring to light.  Even when your movement seems to be two steps forward and one step back, remember that you are learning so much along the way and baby steps are better than no steps at all. 

 Capricorn:    -   REVERSE-  Sometimes it’s a good idea to put yourself in reverse and see where you have come from.  By doing so you will be able to go forward with much more strength and know how with less mistakes and more wisdom in your pocket.

Aquarius:     -   VOLLEY – This is a good time for you to give up the notion that you can “do it all” yourself.  Let someone else help with the chores by taking turns with the responsibilities.  This frees you up for other endeavors that are more important to you. 

Pisces:    - SOAK-  Take a look at where you are getting “soaked” or taken advantage of in your affairs.  Just a little adjustment or an awareness of this will shift things in the direction you want to go.   This may simply mean that it is time to soak in a bubble bath with candles to sooth your body, mind and soul.  

Robin Sharon, the owner of the Annapurna Center for healing had just offered to extend my stay in the apartment that I had been staying at in Port Townsend for the summer if I helped her with things around the center in lieu of apartment and food.  This was a deal that I really couldn’t give up although something within me was not feeling quite right about the situation.  I was being called some where else but at the time New Mexico was the only other option and that was not as desirable either because I wanted to be closer to my family who resides in Olympia.  

When I stepped on the island from the ferry, I felt an excitement that was very deep within me.  I didn’t really think much of it at the moment but as the day continued and I was taken out into the country of the island,  I knew that I wanted a bigger part of this feeling I was feeling.  I loved the smell of the sea breeze that surrounded me.  I loved the rush of the waves I heard along the shore.  

As it turned out a friend was looking for a room mate.  The spa at Roche Harbor was open to hiring me part time even though it was close to off season.  I took these opportunities and ran with it so quickly that after I had moved in, I questioned myself whether I was crazy to have ran off to a place where the business wasn’t as profitable as it was if I had stayed in Olympia.  

Because I did it anyways and I took a big Leap of Faith, I am having a great experience so far.  I ended up renting a room out in my house in Olympia thus taking away some of the stress I was feeling about paying two rents.  I have been working at the AfterGlow Spa at Roche Harbor and more recently am doing Intuitive Readings out of Mystical Mermaid in Friday Harbor.  Life is Good and it continues to get better every day.  

This proves that we must continue to have faith and continue to follow our heart’s desire even though it seems impossible or not financially feasible.  It is about having a vision and being open to what that vision is for us.  I knew that I would be moving.  I knew that I was to do something bigger than staying in Olympia.   I continued to have a vision and I had set the intention of whatever the Universe had for my highest good, my highest power.  I continue to say this everyday.  Remember our visions and desires are always much less than what God has for us.  I invite you to continue Dreaming and Visualizing your heart’s desire.  You don’t have to have a clear picture but a clear intention and a willingness to take chances and risks when they are presented to us.  We can manifest whatever we want.  We just have to continue to believe as such.

We each have a guide or many guides.  Some people go straight to the source in which they call God.  Some resonate better with the Goddess.  I have a belief that we can have as many guides as we want.  It is a matter of believing that we have them or asking them to be here to guide us.  As I have counseled people on their spiritual journeys, I have found that some have had a bad experience in the church.   They had God crammed down their throats.  In order for them to start having a positive belief about a higher power, it was easier to have them ask for a guide or angel to help them.  As long as they have someone of a higher realm from the white light and only of love to go to so they can seek answers and ultimately peace, that is all that matters.  I also believe that God can certainly take care of all of our prayers and guide us and has many guides that reside in the white light to help with such endeavors.  If you think about it, we are all part of God, Goddess, Guides and Angels.  It doesn’t really matter what we call it.  What matters is that we live our lives in Love, Peace and Compassion for ourselves as well as others.  Now with that being said, It is possible that we communicate with our guides every day.  All we have to do is slow down and ask for help.   It doesn’t matter whether you are sitting quietly or going about a task at hand.  Acknowledging a higher power is all that matters.  Some people have a conversation with their higher self, God, angels, etc.  Some call this praying.  It is all the same.  Taking a moment to acknowledge your guides, asking them what you need to do in a given situation and giving thanks to what will come as an answer is all you need to do.  Then take the time to listen.  If we ask for help, seek answers and are willing to wait for what comes to us, we will always be rewarded with information that will keep us on our journeys.
